Can My Appointment be telehealth?Whether getting a new 329 card or renewing with us for the first time, an in-person evaluation is required as per the dept of health. https://health.hawaii.gov/medicalcannabisregistry/application-information/ Renewals for existing patients are done via Telephone/Telehealth appointments. 1- 2 years renewals are available.

What is a Caregiver?A caregiver is a patient’s representative who can go to the dispensary with the patient or on their behalf to purchase and carry the patient’s medicinal cannabis. Unfortunately, despite all of our efforts to protect patient's rights to have a caregiver as their grower, the program will be terminated by the state on January 1, 2025. You can still have a caregiver that can purchase medicine on your behalf, but not to grow. Special circumstances for disabled patients & on islands without a dispensary. For further info, please inquire with the Dept of health. If you wish to add a CG, enter the necessary information while completing your initial application by checking to add caregiver, downloading and signing the caregiver agreement, and then uploading it along with the caregiver's ID to the application.

What is a Grow Site and how to tag your plants?Adding a grow site allows the patient to cultivate cannabis either at their residence or at an assigned grow site. Patients opting to grow should consider adding this option initially to avoid additional fees and paperwork later on. Patients have the choice to cultivate up to 10 cannabis plants & limited to five cards per location with the exception of O'ahu's neighboring islands without a dispensary. Can I Use Cannabis in Public?All use of medical cannabis must be on private proper. Do not use cannabis in your car while on the road, at work, at school or on school grounds, at the beach, at a park, on hiking trails, on a bus, or in any other public space. It is illegal to use or possess cannabis on any federally owned property such as military installations and national parks.

Is It ok to Drive While Using Cannabis?Although medical cannabis is legal in HI, driving under the influence of cannabis is illegal and can be dangerous.

How can I transport medical cannabis?When transporting medical cannabis away from home, ensure it is stored in a sealed container and kept out of public view. It is important to note that flying, including inter-island travel, with any cannabis remains illegal under federal regulations. Even with a medical certification, patients are not protected when transporting medical cannabis inter-island, between states, or internationally.
